Walnut Coffee Table

Celebrating the form of nature, we embraced the shape of this live edge slab in creating this table. We continued the trapezoid motif in the legs and lower section of the table in order to give this table a stout and stable base without compromising aesthetic. The visibly soft finish is to counter the stout build of the table and create a subtle and natural feel of the table in its new space. The negative space in the legs also lowers the visual weight of the table without compromising stability. Two bowls were also turned out of the blanks from the negative space as an organic way to produce grain matched bowls to the table. Finished with 45 degree bevels on the ends and legs, this Coffee table is one of our favorite builds.
